Adelaide is a trained Associate Dance Teacher in Freestyle dance and also works frontline for the ambulance service. Her aim is to ensure all ages and abilities have the opportunity to make friends and express themselves through dance, as well as ensuring loneliness is reduced in the elderly.Adelaide has danced at her local dance school since 4 years old and progressed up to a qualified teaching assistant by the age of 17, becoming a qualified teacher at just 19. Adelaide has previously styled in ballroom and latin and has competed all over the country. Communication is of high importance for Adelaide and has previous experience of working with adults with acquired brain injuries in a rehab setting. She still has connections with previous clients and continues to work alongside them in the community. Adelaide then went to The Children's Trust and helped assist children with brain injuries and complex needs. Through doing this, Adelaide wanted to ensure everyone could express themselves without being held back by barriers. Dance is not only a way to express yourself freely, its a place of acceptance for many.

Ann is a volunteer with ADA and is loved by everyone. Ann is front of house and loves the role of greeting and signing in the students. Due to reduced mobility since COVID, she has more passion than ever to keep them hips moving, even if it takes a bit longer.
Ann loves being able to meet and socialise with others of similar age especially whilst performing adapted routines to increase mobility. The cup of tea and biscuit is something she also finds just as important. Ann is also Adelaide's nan and loves to be involved in her progression.
Previously, Ann used to be a qualified nurse in her youth and still shows her kind and caring nature.

Sue has been a nurse for over 40 years and has looked after so many children in this time. As well as this she has bought up her 3 children in the last 42 years and is now an amazing grandmother. Sue first met Lyn (Adelaide's mum) where they both worked in a health centre at a boarding school in Reigate. Together with the rest of the team they have helped care and support so many young individuals. Sue has retired from the school but doesn't want to stop looking after children, so volunteered to help out at ADA! As a company we are very lucky to have such an experienced member of our team as well as having such a kind and honest soul!
